After travelling abroad on vacation to Japan, the homeowners were inspired to create a bathroom that offered a tranquil, contemplative space to renew their spirits. Fitting flawlessly under the window, the round Japanese soaking tub encourages soft and clean serenity. The waterlilies printed on stainless steel is a refreshing choice compared to a tile mosaic and pairs nicely with their overlooking pond. Warmth is brought through the bamboo cabinetry and envelope the user to complete the soothing spa experience.

• Combining the garden tub and angled shower enclosure into an elongated wet room with a Japanese soaking tub and linear shower drain.
• Installing 50 square feet of 2” x 2” mesh shower floor tile that increases traction in the wet area for homeowners that plan to age in place.
• Installing 205 square feet of 12” x 24” wall tile, greatly reducing the amount of cleaning time and scrubbing of grout!
• Removing the neutral beiges of the small-scale floor tile and replacing with 150 square feet of 12” x 24” soft luxury vinyl tile throughout the bathroom and closets.
• The addition of a stainless steel print of waterlilies on a pond centered inside the wet area. This print’s beauty ushers in the serene vibes that reside over their personal pond outside the home.
• Eliminating the need for large laundry baskets, as two hampers are tucked away and built into the new custom storage pantry.
• Substantially increasing the storage of the bathroom by designing with frameless cabinets to maximize the interior capabilities.
