Straight from the Space Coast

This design features an owner’s suite remodel where the client gravitated towards celestial blues and whites so innately familiar to us here on the Space Coast. This townhome resides alongside the Cape Canaveral shorelines, and it was imperative that its interior revealed an environment that felt like home. Bold navy and the warmth of bamboo floors provide a balanced color palette and set the stage for a remote worker’s dream atmosphere. What was once a space to sleep and work in has been transformed into an oasis for rest and productivity.

This project was sold at $98,000 in September of 2021.

The function and aesthetic of this remodel were dramatically increased through…

• Removing existing carpet replacing it with 510 square feet of durable bamboo flooring. The flooring was completed with all new doors, baseboards, and door casings.
• Upgrading the existing staircase with durable designer carpeting.
• Closing in a drywall bookcase to expand the length of the bathroom layout.
• A complete redesign of the bathroom by relocating the shower entrance to maximize the interior space. New quartz countertops, 282 square feet of marble tile, and luxurious gold fixtures made the result sparkle.
• The incorporation of a complete furniture, art, accessory, and window treatment package that helped pull deep navies and soft, sandy textures.
• Omitting the harsh yellow walls both upstairs and downstairs by painting over with calming neutrals.
• Installing a wallpaper accent wall in the master bedroom to add a pop of deep navy.
• Increasing privacy without sacrificing natural lighting by installing new custom window treatments.
• Installing a custom desk out of cabinetry, complete with pantry storage, floating shelves, and an abundance of storage solutions.
• Illuminating all rooms and surfaces through the customized placement of generous LEDs, accent lighting, and a ceiling fan.
